Job Description

Responsibilities: Provide gymnastics coaching to students of various ages and skill levels.

Develop and implement training programs to improve gymnastics skills and techniques.

Create a safe and supportive environment for students to learn and grow.

Conduct warm-up exercises, stretching routines, and conditioning drills.

Demonstrate proper form and technique for gymnastics movements.

Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing feedback and guidance for improvement.

Plan and organize gymnastics performances.

Collaborate with other coaches and staff members to ensure a cohesive training program.

Maintain equipment and ensure a clean and organized gymnasium.

Requirements: Previous experience in sports coaching, preferably in gymnastics or related disciplines such as cheerleading or physical education.

Knowledge of gymnastics techniques, skills, and safety guidelines.

Ability to effectively communicate with students, parents, and staff members.

Supervise, train and schedule Assistant Coaches.

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate and inspire students.

CPR/AED certification.

Experience working with children or in childcare settings is highly desirable.

Ability to climb, swim, and perform physical activities associated with gymnastics coaching.

Knowledge of other sports such as judo or basketball is beneficial.
