RINA is currently recruiting: Handling Engineer Duration: 16 months

Activities Liaise/work with all disciplines to deliver handling deliverables to clients. Develop and implement philosophies and strategies for the handling of maintainable equipment, valves, instruments, and miscellaneous items. Create detailed handling methods and procedures for the maintenance and operations team to safely perform maintenance activities. Analyze lifting requirements and specify the appropriate mechanical handling devices (cranes, forklifts, etc. ) for each task. Plan the transportation route for removing and transporting maintainable items to the designated laydown area. Clearly define the laydown area and required hatch opening dimensions to facilitate safe handling activities. Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to ensure smooth execution of handling procedures. Handling design knowledge for offshore Oil & Gas Projects. Review of vendor material and equipment handling proposal. Verification of mechanical vendor drawings. Participate in 3D Model reviews with client and propose solutions to problems. Read and understand technical drawings. Interface between E3D/S3D and Navisworks. Perform handling study, create snapshots from E3D/S3D or Navisworks.
