The Consumer Experience Organization (CX) is looking for an independent, creative, and open-minded individual to join as **Hardware Expert.

The exciting thing about this role, besides Hardware management in Electronics for Food Preservation appliances, is the international work environment.

As Hardware Expert, you will work closely with colleagues from all over the world, understanding different realities, cultures and people, as well as being part of an open-minded Team, where creativity is welcome, and innovation is the middle name.

The position belongs to the Global Technology Center for Food Preservation and sits within the Electronic Development Team which is expanding to create next generation electronics.

All electronic controls are developed and maintained from the beginning through the entire lifecycle, while the qualification testing can be performed both in Electrolux facilities as well as in external laboratories.

What is more, in addition to the HW development team, the SW development team is co-located in Susegana and Anderson, SC.

The Team works within Group Technology Organization, CX area.

You will develop and promote an efficient development approach into the organization, in agreement with the HW Competency strategies.

You will also be part of the team working in a matrix department, building strong and valid relationships with central GTO & other R&D functions.

You will be based in Electrolux CX office in Susegana (TV), Italy.

In our office you will work together with hundreds of people from different functions, and various nationalities, with the common goal to create the technologies of the future.

**Key assignments in this role will be to**:

- He/she will be responsible to develop hardware designs for the product category following the Global strategy and lead projects

- Accountable of the delivery of projects and modules, accordingly to priority defined

- Adopt tools, skills and training needs to proactively contribute to the High-Performance Delivery Team in place, according with HW Manager, in line with global GEO strategy, skillset, tools and processes.

- He/she will interact with SW, PMO, GTO, System integration colleagues

- Guarantee design and execution accordingly to Unified Electronic Hardware Architecture guidelines, tools and processes

- He/she will support HW care CX FPS activities

- He/she will be involved in EMC pre-compliance & Testing for the boards under development

- He/she will actively use HW laboratory and equipment for development purposes (Oscilloscope, Spectrum Analyzer, etc)

**Qualifications**:

- Master's degree in Electronic Engineering or similar

- Committed to quality & cost optimal design

- Open minded, results oriented

- Min.

7 years of experience in HW development (SCH, PCB design, simulation)

- Knowledge of electronic supplier manufacturing set up and processes

- Basic knowledge of HW Validation, including environmental and EMC testing

- Electronic international standards (IEC, IPC) basic knowledge

- Good communication and leadership skills

- Required languages: Fluent English written and spoken.

Fluent Italian is a plus.
