Job Description: Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated HARDWARE-FIRMWARE ELECTRONIC DESIGNER who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic.

The position is based in Naples - IT.

Accountabilities: The HARDWARE-FIRMWARE ELECTRONIC DESIGNER will handle the entire product development cycle: from the specification phase to hardware design, taking care of all industrialization and testing issues in compliance with industry regulations.

Required Skills/Knowledge: - Passion for electronics. - Knowledge of mixed electronic circuits with operational amplifiers, comparators, BJT, MOSFET, digital components, etc. - Familiarity with the use of at least one analog simulation tool. - Familiarity with the use of at least one schematic entry tool. - Familiarity with the use of at least one PCB design tool. - Willingness to travel. - Familiarity with basic laboratory instrumentation (power supplies, multimeter, oscilloscope, signal generators, etc.

). - Knowledge of digital circuit design principles. - Microcontroller programming. - FPGA design using VHDL language.

Education/Qualifications: - Engineering Degree or equivalent technical background. - 3 to 5 years of Experience in electronic design according to EN50155 standard.

Languages: - Fluent Knowledge of English (written & spoken).
