**Position**:

We are looking for a Head of Accounting & Financial Controlling, who will lead our Accounting Team and will be responsible for reporting in terms of P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow.

This includes ensuring financial planning and targets' setting, management reporting, compliance with internal and external regulations for the financial closing process, controlling of costs, as well as implementing the needed policies and processes to guarantee that these activities are completed in a timely manner.

**What you will do**:

Manage the day-to-day financial operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting and Controlling, and Revenue Recognition;

- Coordinate and support the preparation of budget, financial forecasts and report variances;

- Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements;

- Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting;

- Support month-end and year-end closing process;

- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting;

- Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings;

- Develop business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls;

- Lead the Accounting team;

- Additional controller duties as necessary;

- Coordinate and support the implementation of best practices, cost controlling and reporting, sound accounting policies, and automation processes.

**Requirements**:

Proven experience as Big4 financial auditor and/or Head of Accounting, preferably in a digital and data-driven environment;

- Thorough knowledge of Italian GAAPs and IFRS;

- Experience with creating financial statements;

- Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end closing process;

- Excellent accounting software user and administration skills;

- Good knowledge of Italian taxation rules, including both income taxes and VAT;

- Good knowledge of corporate structures and processes;

- Proficiency in MS Excel/GSheet and financial modeling;

- Proficiency in creating and updating understandable and traceable reporting files;

- Comfort in handling data and elaborate it in order to have useful information;

- English fluency.

**Nice to have**:

Experience in an international environment;

- Knowledge of Business Central ERP system.
