**The Role
We are looking for the new Head of Affinity in Italy; reporting into the Head of Italy and Global Head of Affinity.
You will have the Italian Affinity team reporting into you.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Development and execution of Affinity strategy for Italy
- Driving overall Affinity growth and profitability (P&L) in Italy
- Management of all Affinity resources in Italy.
Responsible for people management and development, Inclusion & diversity priorities
- Oversight of operational management across the LOB, including supporting delivery of our proprietary technology platform in Italy
- Leading business development and sales
- Managing key client or carrier relations
In cooperation with the relevant CRB, Affinity and Geography Leaders:
- Supports overall country growth and profitability (P&L) in collaboration with CRB, Affinity and GEO leaders
- Manages and develops leadership team including talent development (including I&D)
- Be a key member of the Affinity European leadership group and active member of the Affinity business globally, helping to support the business objectives and colleagues globally
- Oversees pipeline and sales opportunities working closely with Heads of Client, Lead Relationship Managers and geographic/regional heads
- Develops and drives value proposition and product development for the Italian market, leveraging Affinity global value proposition where relevant
- Works with Geo/Region Affinity and GEO leaders to provide technical guidance and assistance, including product and placement expertise, training and Sales support and execution
- Provides operational and regulatory oversight globally ensuring compliance with all local regulatory regimes
- Be a steward of change, build a community and drive a culture of transformation within the Affinity community
**The Requirements
- Understanding of the Affinity sector, with proven reputation and track record of colleague engagement and execution and delivery of business results
- Excellent leadership skills
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence within a matrix environment
- Proven track record of delivering new business against challenging sales targets
- Understanding of technology in the Affinity space
- Strong facilitation skills - able to use inclusive and collaborative styles to manage ambiguity and gain agreement
- Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills
- Strong skills in problem solving, planning and budgeting
- High levels of business and financial acumen with an understanding of company strategy and change management
