Head Of Business Development Life Safety Unit Emea
What you'll do**:
Head of Business Development for the Life Safety Product Line is leading the BDM function that acts as a bridge between Business Unit, Sales organizations and Segments in EMEA.
The mission of the BDM function managed by this person is to enable short, mid and long term profitable growth together with sales, segments and BU product marketing.
They will do this by identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with customers and partners, and driving growth within the company.
- Leads the Life Safety business development teams in executing business development activities and proactively identify and pursue potential new business opportunities in both existing and new markets.
- Plan, develop and manage framework for Business development activities for the Life Safety business and enable a successful team to achieve growth and exceed targets.
- Identify industry trends, their impact, relevance and proximity to identify growth areas for Life Safety.
Consolidate market input including local competitive landscape, pricing information as well general market trends
- Identify and develop new business opportunities from new customers, partners and segments and forge new partnerships by understanding their needs
- Manage and steer local sales organizations in developing local product strategy and positioning to enable product line growth.
This includes annual and longer-term sales planning and driving product launches with country sales teams and in Key Accounts
- Work closely with the product development and marketing teams to align sales strategies and solutions.
- Manage monthly reviews, scorecards and pipelines with sales organizations
- Provide regular sales forecasts and progress reports to the leadership team
**Qualifications**:
> 10 years in sales, marketing, technology
Product line knowledge, segment knowledge, strong Sales/marketing experience
**Skills**:
Strategic mindset, ability to shape and execute strategic plans, leadership (direct/indirect), presentation/communication skills, Ability to take initiatives and drive them autonomously, strongly customer-oriented.
Ability to drive change and continuous improvement and lead and motivate a high performance sales team.
