The team, position & mission**:

As Head of Core Platform Services, you are responsible for your teams contributing to a stable, efficient and attractive technology platform.

Team leaders will support you by leading and controlling the day-to-day operations.

You will ensure the motivation of our personnel by keeping control of the work climate and optimizing the relevant workflows.

You will also keep control of the financial planning and review concerning operating costs and investments.

In addition, you will take responsibility of the technology platform operated by your team and will enable and support your technical lead and technical experts.

**Your key areas of responsibility as Head of Core Platform Services**:

- Personnel management - Lead, motivate, and support your team

- Manage data collection for the updating of metrics to achieve productivity targets, reduce cost per unit, eliminate errors, and deliver excellent customer service

- Budgeting and report cost plans

- Life cycle management

- Capacity management

- Continuity planning

- Be a part of the Operations Management Team and influence and advice on actions leading to the continual growth of the company

Empower a culture of safety, security, sustainability and compliance in all aspects of cloud infrastructure

- At least 7 years work experience from the IT industry, with at least 3 years as a manager of technical teams

- Ability to delegate responsibilities while maintaining organizational control

- Proficiency in conflict and change management

- Experience with budget development and follow up

- Excellent communication skills (both written and spoken) in Norwegian/Swedish and English

- A target driven approach with the ability to align the organization around it's goals

- Networking skills - involvement of relevant stakeholders at the right time and right context

- Sound knowledge of the following technologies:

- PCI-DSS

- Elastic

- Kubernetes and other container technologies
