Job Title: Head of Data & Analytics Company: alllocaljobs.com Role Mission Reporting to the Chief Information Officer (CIO), the Head of Data & Analytics will be in charge of driving the Data and Analytics vision, strategy, and execution. As an empowered Senior Officer with a high degree of delegation, the incumbent will make appropriate decisions selecting the right data science capabilities for the enterprise, providing business stakeholders with the most appropriate data architectures, the best Data & Analytics processes and technologies possible. Tasks Design and execute the Data & Analytics strategy and the 'continuous evolution' roadmap. Partner with department heads of all brands/all business areas as advisor of any Data & Analytics needs/matter. Leverage modelling techniques to identify, analyse and present actionable data to drive business. Stay on top of Data & Analytics trends and developments by continuously researching and scouting new possible solutions to foster the company's revenue or enhance the business ability to make fast decisions that generate value for the company. Ensure overall data delivered through the Data Lake is certified and high quality. Design, implement and run an effective Data Governance framework. Lead a team of talented data scientists to positively impact the organisation by leveraging data, analytics, and simulations. Negotiate and manage the budget to adopt and implement technologies and solutions that create value for business through data exploitation. Make presentations to top management whenever required. Take the initiative in thought leadership, innovation, and creativity. Scout, select and manage the best talents for his/her team, external consulting partners, vendors, suppliers. Skills Bachelor's/Master's degree in STEM or related field. 10 years working in a technological role dealing with data, analytics, Business Intelligence, advanced distributed data architectures/platforms. 5 years managerial experience in a Global Company; at least 3 years in senior leadership positions. Previous experience in Fashion/Luxury companies and/or Retail companies constitutes a consistent preference. Gravitas to develop a framework for information and analytics governance, as well as to sell and embed it in all levels of the business. Proven data literacy: Ability to describe business use cases/outcomes, data sources and management concepts, and analytical approaches/options. Ability to translate among the languages used by executive, business, IT and quant stakeholders. Demonstrated knowledge of data structure, information systems/tools, related software and data management, enterprise content management, and record-keeping policies and practices in a complex organizational environment. Broad experience and proven track record of successful projects in multiple competency areas of data and analytics delivery. Exponential growth mindset combined with an appetite to learn and upgrade the professional profile. Strategic thinking and strong business acumen combined with a great ability to delegate efficiently. Excellent leadership, team building, and management skills. Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently. Able to be a 'big picture' thinker combined with analytical skills.
