If you are passionate about Renewable Energy Sources and looking to give new meaning to your career, we are looking for you Your Mission: As Head of Development and Project Management you will play a crucial role in leading our project development and permitting activities in Italy.
This key role will drive the success and growth of our PV and BESS portfolio, positioning the company as a key actor in the energy transition sector in Italy.
What will you do?
Serve as the primary liaison with all stakeholders involved in the development and construction phases of photovoltaic (PV) and battery energy storage system (BESS) projects.
Ensure the timely acquisition of all permits, licenses, and approvals necessary to achieve Ready-to-Build (RTB) and Commercial Operation Date (COD) milestones.
Monitoring development timings, project budgets and ensure cost reduction.
Monitor project development costs rigorously, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure strict adherence to budgetary constraints without compromising quality or timelines.
Build and maintain strong, strategic relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, regulatory bodies, and local communities.
Act as a trusted representative, fostering transparency and alignment with project goals Oversee energy assessment, engineering, and construction activities to align project deliverables with strategic objectives.
Ensure technical, financial, and operational requirements are consistently met.
Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to keep a competitive edge and drive continuous improvement.
Partner with internal teams including finance, engineering, and legal to streamline project execution.
Address challenges proactively to maintain project momentum.
Liaise with Headquarter's Finance and M&A Teams to support the Financial Closing or Sale of the portfolio under management.
Manage, guide, and inspire a high-performing team (2/3 people) to deliver projects on time, within scope, and on budget.
Promote accountability and a culture of excellence across all phases of project delivery.
Stay ahead of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging best practices.
Leverage insights to drive innovation, maintain a competitive edge, and refine project management processes.
What are we looking for?
A strong track record in project development within the renewable energy sector, demonstrating the ability to manage projects through all phases, from inception to completion.
Skilled in managing and inspiring teams, fostering collaboration, and driving results in dynamic and challenging environments.
Comprehensive understanding of the Italian renewable energy market, including its regulatory framework, permitting processes, and industry trends.
Fluency in both Italian and English, with excellent communication skills in both languages to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.
Knowledge of the Spanish language is a plus What do we offer?
