Head Of Digital & Innovation
Position**:
The Head of Digital and Innovation has a central role in all digital transformation projects and in the implementation of innovative solutions.
Within the IT Department, the person will be responsible for the Digital Farm, in close partnership with the Digital function.
Reporting directly to the CIO, his/her team deals with the technological development of the b2b and b2c eCommerce channels, including digital showrooms and other digital platforms to support the entire company.
He/She also leads the innovation part with the aim of injecting the best emerging technologies into the Company to support the business.
**Responsibilities**:
- Supports and sustains all digital initiatives in the company, helping business functions gather all requirements and acts as an accelerator in the implementation of the identified solutions
- Governs the digital factory with the development of main customer touchpoints (eCommerce platforms, virtual showrooms, consumer apps).
- Stimulates and helps the company grow towards the digital age, making the most of new and emerging communication channels and digital technologies as a key tool for operational excellence, with the aim of improving the overall customer experience (internal and external)
- Is responsible for the analysis and evaluation of new technological trends to promptly respond to new technological needs of the market and, if necessary, interface with external suppliers
- Continuously carries out discovery activities, assessing and introducing potential new technologies and/or innovative solutions in the business
- Supports the evolution of the collection and the management of commercial and marketing "web-based" information
**Profile**:
- Bachelor's degree
- Passion for and in-depth knowledge of the digital ecosystem, digital retail technologies and how innovation can increase the involvement of various stakeholders in business processes, with particular attention to sales and customer care processes.
- Ability to communicate in order to help bring to realization and help build understanding around the digital evolution, generating attention around what is possible to achieve.
- Has experience in Project Management, especially in the Retail/GDO sector, in the design and development of innovative digital solutions.
- Ability to monitor and evaluate development processes, interfacing with project technical and operational teams.
- Development experience on complex platforms of Ecommerce, OMS, CMS and DAM.
- Excellent knowledge of technologies enabling social channels, digital marketing and engagement, including the new paradigms related to Web3 (metaverse, blockchain&NFT, 3D Engines, )
