HEAD OF E-COMMERCE EUROPE**:

It is present in more than 80 countries with 5, 000 points of sale, including more than 400 company owned stores.
This position will report to the Diesel Europe CEO and will work hands in hands with Global E-commerce Director
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Lead and oversee day to day business performance and key actions to address digital and omnichannel targets focusing on digital operations, digital merchandising, analytics, digital marketing (SEO SEM) and project launches.
- Assess and define digital business potential in the region, channel strategy and growth plan in line with global strategy and brand positioning
- Ensure functioning of digital front-end and back-end operations to deliver exceptional end to end customer experience from landing on the site through to product delivery
- Collaborate in the definition of the editorial calendar/asset briefing creation to ensure coverage for all local commercial occasion and buy push
- Partner closely with local marketing on all traffic activations to maximize results.
- Partner with local logistic, tresury and client service teams to ensure respect of SLA and policies plus constant service evolution to improve customer experience
- Partner with HQ global digital and ecommerce team to implement new functionalities, business opportunities and in general all local needs leveraging on global processes and timing.
Marketplaces
- Develop marketplace business in line with global strategy and brand positioning, leveraging on commercial activities, merchandising strategy, digital marketing.
- Set up strategic relationship and shared growth plan with key marketplaces discussing targets, business models and actions
- Establish effective and optimized way to run digital and business operations with marketplace partners, leveraging global omnichannel footprint and best practices.
- Assess and activate strategic collaborations with marketplaces and affiliate network to maximize business and brand perception
Omnichannel
- Constantly optimize and innovate omnichannel services to improve conversion, drive traffic to the stores while guaranteeing a seamless and premium customer experience
- Assess priorities and feasibility of activation of new services partnering with all stakeholders, including retail, buying, marketing, ICT, logistic team
- Partner with HQ to implement global omnichannel projects, supporting global directives while championing local business needs
- Drive local project execution of all new services and/or upgrading providing local requirements, recommendation on technical solution and leading change management and new process implementation with all stakeholders.
All digital channels
- Build and direct a team of digital and ecommerce professionals that can effectively manage company tools to deliver digital and omnichannel strategies across all touchpoints
- Ensure collaboration, knowledge sharing, and digital best practices between partners and colleagues to help embed a robust digital ecosystem
- Measure ROI on digital projects, fine-tuning approaches as needed to ensure we're investing in the right tools and resource
- Research and report on market, competitor, customer and other relevant data to provide insights and support for business growth
- Plans and controls departmental budget, including sales, digital marketing spend, agent commissions, T & E, capex and depreciation, etc.
- Ensures legal compliance requirements are implemented and monitored where required
**Requirements**:
- Background of at least 10 years experience launching and growing the e-commerce channel, ideally within the fashion industry
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business administration, technology, engeneering or specifically in digital disciplines
- Experience managing and leading a digital team
- Strong in stakeholder management both internally & externally, as well as the ability to liaise with diverse personalities and backgrounds
- Must be entrepreneurial, proactive and result oriented
- Highly analytical
- Strong understanding of digital marketing
- Innovative and disruptive mindset, constantly looking forward
- Proficiency in written and spoken English, Italian is a plus
