The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining the hotel's high standards while ensuring efficient and sustainable operations. Responsibilities: Strategic Planning : Develop and implement short and long-term engineering and maintenance strategies aligned with the hotel's objectives and standards. Daily Operations : Oversee the day-to-day engineering and maintenance activities, ensuring smooth operations across all facilities and installations. Asset Management : Manage the lifecycle of assets, including machinery, equipment, and building systems, to optimize performance, longevity, and cost-effectiveness. Team Leadership : Lead and mentor the engineering team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Compliance and Safety : Ensure compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and safety protocols, conducting regular audits and inspections. Budget Management : Develop and manage the engineering department budget, optimizing resource allocation and cost control measures. Vendor and Contractor Management : Collaborate with external vendors and contractors for maintenance, repairs, and installations, ensuring quality, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness.
