Job type: Full Time, Permanent Start date: September 2025 Apply by: 14 February 2025 Job overview We seek an outstanding Head of English to lead a high-performing, experienced department, and teach from Key Stage 3 to Sixth Form IB.

The successful candidate will be well-qualified, dedicated, energetic, and ideally be familiar with the IB.

With responsibility for the delivery of English to all students in the Senior School, this role is essential in supporting the overall outcomes of students.

About You The ideal candidate will be an excellent teacher with a passion for their subject.

An ability to lead and manage an experienced team and to uphold the very high standards of teaching and learning that are synonymous with the expectations the school places on itself.

You will be solution focused with a proven ability to shape and influence school improvement.

With excellent organisational and administrative abilities, you will be able to manage your workload independently, ensuring deadlines and targets are met.
