**In a nutshell**:

You will be responsible for the full spectrum of financial operations for Bystronic Automation and Bystronic Tube Processing. Reporting directly to the local Managing Director, you will ensure seamless alignment with strategic objectives and fostering effective decision-making.

**What you will be doing**:

- Lead and manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end reporting, as well as budget and forecast planning for Bystronic Automation and Bystronic Tube Processing.

- Provide financial insights and evaluations to local and global management.

- Focus on industrial controlling, including deviation vs. standard costs and gap analysis.

- Ensure compliance with tax and legal requirements, coordinating with external consultants.

- Oversee the Bystronic Accounting Manual and represent the company to external auditors.

- Accountable for risk management and internal control according to Bystronic, legal, and tax standards.

- Act as a strategic partner to the Managing Director and Group Members.

- Collaborate closely with Group Controlling and Head of Finance Global Operation.

- Manage cost controlling and budgeting, emphasizing standard costs and variance analysis.

- Ensure accuracy of P&L statements, with a focus on inventory management and gross margin.

- Oversee monthly closing reporting and ensure accurate Local GAAP ITA financial statements.

- Implement and monitor the Internal Control System (ICS) for risk management.

- Lead a team of 6 people distributed across 2 plants in Italy.

**Your education & experience**:

- Proven leadership experience in finance within an industrial environment.

- University degree in Economics, Accounting, or related field, complemented by advanced training in finance and controlling.

- Proven track record in international environments, adept at effective cross-cultural communication.

- Proficient in SAP and Excel; familiarity with Cognos is advantageous.

- Fluent in Italian and excellent command of English.

- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial statement analysis, and cost analysis.

- Demonstrated ability to lead teams.
