To carry forward our mission, we are looking for a Head of Global Legal Affairs to join our team.
WHAT WE WOULD LIKE YOU TO TAKE CARE OF Leadership and Management of the Legal Team: Lead and coordinate the legal team, ensuring all legal activities are conducted efficiently and professionally. Strategic Legal Advice: Provide strategic legal advice to top management and other company functions on complex legal matters and associated risks. Support key business decisions, including M&A, joint ventures, and other strategic expansion operations. Global Compliance and Awareness: Ensure the company operates in compliance with national and international regulations by developing and implementing effective compliance policies and procedures. Equip the legal team and management with tools to prevent and adequately manage risk and legal implications. Audit and Compliance: Periodically conduct legal compliance audits and promptly address any areas for improvement by proposing effective solutions. Contribute to creating and updating company policies. Litigation and Risk Management: Handle legal disputes by collaborating with the in-house lawyers. Develop and implement legal risk mitigation strategies. Contract Management: Oversee the drafting and review of contracts to ensure they comply with local and international regulations. Relations with Regulatory Authorities: Establish and maintain relationships with regulatory authorities, ensuring clear and timely communication on legal and compliance issues. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with other company departments (P&C, Finance, Operations, etc. ) to ensure an integrated approach to legal matters. Participate in cross-functional projects to provide legal support and ensure compliance across operational areas. WHAT WE WISH YOU'D BRING WITH A degree in Law, preferably with a specialisation in commercial or international law. At least 5-7 years of experience in the role, within international contexts. Strong understanding of global regulatory frameworks and experience managing compliance for companies with international operations. Business-proficient English level. A proactive, sharp attitude with problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to dynamic environments. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with various stakeholders. High level of discretion, professionalism, and ability to handle confidential information with care. A proactive attitude, with ease to thrive in dynamic environments and desire to drive process optimization and innovation. NICE TO HAVE Previous experience in large-scale project management. Previous international work experience. Experience working in a fast-evolving, growth-oriented environment.
