Sustainability, Wellness, and Out of the Ordinary experiences are at the core of everything we do at Six Senses. I will safeguard these pillars and their strategic planning and development, ensuring all directives, practices, and initiatives are implemented, embraced, and adopted within the hotel.
Duties and Responsibilities: Sending groups and events offers coming direct to the hotel or through Sales Managers. Accurate tracking of groups and events in the hotel booking systems. Organizing the follow-up of groups and events offers to guarantee the highest possible conversion, in partnership with the specific Sales Manager. Managing all converted groups and event bookings to ensure client satisfaction and successful handling through hotel operations teams (including contracting, pre-payment, rooming lists, collecting event details, etc. ). Creating detailed and accurate groups & events function sheets and presenting these during the weekly operations meeting to the hotel team. Focusing on maximizing revenue & upsell opportunities. Ensuring accurate forecasting, including handling and arranging the groups & events pace report (to be updated weekly). Overseeing the final billing process through the accounts department. Following up after group and event departures to generate repeat business, in partnership with the specific Sales Manager. Being involved in the annual budget and commercial plan. Sourcing potential business opportunities (Sales & Marketing) and sharing these with the relevant host. Participating in client entertaining opportunities (e. g. , hosted lunches & dinners combined with site inspections) to ensure strong partnerships between business partners and the hotel. Acting as Account Manager for selected local and possibly national/international accounts. Attending trade shows (local/national/international) and local strategic events if applicable. Participating in relevant department meetings to share and collect feedback on past and future groups and events bookings. Presenting strategic options to the teams to ensure the budgets for groups and events are achieved. Being flexible to take on other Sales & Marketing department-related duties if applicable. Qualifications: Some college plus 1-2 years of Sales & Marketing-related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A Bachelor's degree in hospitality, Marketing, Hotel, or Business Management, with more than five years of experience in a senior sales and marketing role, is preferred. Fluency in English and Italian; additional languages are preferred. Eligibility to work in Italy (only EU Citizens).
