As the Head of Growth Sports at Hawk-Eye Innovations, you will join one of the world's most innovative sports technology businesses.
You will play a vital role as we embark on an ambitious growth journey with the ultimate goal of "Pioneering & Inspiring Change in Sport. " We have been innovating since 2001, challenging conventions to deliver solutions that make sport fairer, safer, more engaging and better informed.
Reporting to our Managing Director, your wide-ranging role will see you collaborating in order to create strategic growth of current and future growth sports for Hawk-Eye, examples of such sports are Motor Racing, Horse Racing, Golf, Boxing, and Swimming.
Leveraging your deep understanding of the sports industry, market trends, and customer needs, you will develop and execute comprehensive and entrepreneurial growth strategies to expand Hawk-Eye's presence, drive revenue growth, and strengthen partnerships with key stakeholders across various sports leagues, federations, teams, and broadcasters.

**Strategic Growth & Business Planning**:
- Identify, pursue and drive the short and long-term growth of key sports
- Take full accountability to deliver on the strategy, including the annual budget, and where possible, drive to exceed it
- Fully accountable for the profitability of Growth Sports, including revenue, GP, and OP
- Analyse operational models, commercials and profitability of each of the existing contracts and new opportunities
- Work with the Head of Commercial, Growth Sports, for the development of business opportunities across key sports for Hawk-Eye Innovations and wider Sony Sports
- Collaborate with commercial heads to deliver major pitches using a clearly aligned business case and brand positioning
- Understand new and existing customers' strategies to develop solutions to meet each sport's strategic needs
- Work with the Product & Innovations Team to seek, build and deliver new business ideas across all sports and products, fostering innovation and ideation
- Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and competitive threats.
Use insights to inform strategic decision-making and positioning within the sports technology landscape
- Develop and execute effective go-to-market strategies for new products, features, and solutions targeted at sports industry clients
**Operations**:
- Create an environment that enables our people and technologies to succeed, championing the Hawk-Eye Guarantee
- Work with the SMT to identify and implement the strategic direction of all managed services and other operating models
- Continually review the operational model, striking the right balance between efficiency, client satisfaction, operational excellence and profitability
- Fully understand the contractual agreements and SLAs with clients, and ensure that they are delivered in full
- Ensure the teams are equipped and capable of delivering on all contractual agreements and expectations from clients
- Work with the PMO to implement projects, ensuring that new and improved technologies are delivered successfully
- Ensure resource levels are appropriate for future growth, and utilise the current and broader business resource strategically
- Manage any issues arising from operations and proactively minimise their effect on the client and the team, briefing senior management where appropriate
- Maintain a solid understanding of the core technology to ensure it's delivered most effectively across the region
- Work with the product team to identify areas for improvements in the development of the technology, as well as input into ideation sessions
- Working with the TechOps function to build in operational insights to create the most effective hardware solutions
**Client Relationships**:
- Oversee and manage major client relationships within Growth Sports
- Build the reputation of Hawk-Eye and Sony Sports
- Work with the commercial leads to bring all contracts to the point of closure
- Support the brand to be the number one provider to 'all' technology in sport
**Leadership**:
- Build successful and productive relationships with all teams and sports, including functions within HQ
- Continue to build an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture
- Where suitable, delegate responsibilities and support the work of the teams, providing guidance and motivation to drive maximum performance
- Empower team members with the skills to advance their careers, supporting professional and personal development
- Conduct regular performance reviews to support staff development
