Job Purpose/Role

**Key Responsibilities

- Set up local service and operations functions in cooperation with the responsible owners of the Allianz' target platforms, OE-specific solutions and the CTO2-head of Allianz Tech, leveraging the Allianz Tech processes, standards and tools

- Organize and plan the roll-out and run of the local / regional layers as well as OE (Operating entity)-specific solutions to Allianz' Italy, including on-site support

- Key contact for Allianz' COO in Italy for detailed transformation execution in collaboration with the CTO2-head

- Manage local steering committees of respective programs and projects with the Allianz Italian local boards

- Provide operational, conceptual and strategic consulting in all project phases

- Deliver a local roll-out for the target platforms and OE-specific solutions within time, quality and budget

- Contribute to standardization via a cross-region enabler team: leverage expert and talent pools (Enabler Domains) within Az Technology GSI to deliver the number of projects in time, quality and budget and act in a multi-cultural environment

- Establish and integrate high-performing multi-disciplinary, multi-cultural project teams including steering of off-shore sites and external delivery partners to ensure efficient project delivery with the local Board of Management

- Manage Allianz' Italian GSI resources from a disciplinary perspective

**Key Requirements/Skills/Experience

- Master's Degree in Information Technology, Engineering or equivalent

- 10+ Years of experience, with a focus on IT and general management.

Strong knowledge of the insurance industry a distinct advantage.

- Strong understanding of Insurance Industry Operations and IT opportunities along the value chain; knowledge of Insurance Business strategy, challenges, and regulatory specifics of Italy main markets.

- Advanced understanding of Shared Services, arms-length operating models

- Demonstrated experience leading large scale international Technology transformation / change programs covering both technology delivery and organizational change.

- Strong negotiation and networking skills,

- Possessing analytical thinking and methodological planning techniques

- Solid business judgment and advances problem solving skills

- Ability to influence and steer executive peers.

- Strong inter-cultural and communication skills, able to deal easily with ambiguity and manage a diverse group of global and local stakeholders.

- Demonstrated organizational development success including training, developing, coaching, mentoring and mediation skills; Ability to manage disputes and conflict in an appropriate manner.

- Able to work effectively in a global matrix and lead teams through influence management.

- Fluent in Italian and English, written and spoken

- Willingness for global travel to Italy and Europe as required.
