JOB TITLE: HEAD OF EHS**:

**LOCATION: RIETI**:

**ABOUT THE ROLE**:

- The primary purpose is to ensure Plasma sites (Rieti/Pisa) and employees are working in a safe and controlled environment and in accordance to the local/regional environmental health & safety regulations.

You will also be responsible to lead necessary improvement actions related to Health, Environment and Safety.

**HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE**:

**You will be responsible of Managing, developing resources based in two sites, in compliance with HR processes**:

**You will coordinate the deployment of a management system that supports Environment Health and Safety, by investigating and analysing (potential) EHS issues, in accordance to regional and national, divisional or corporate guidelines, law and on-going technical developments**:

**You will oversee the preparation of the Risk Assessment Document (DVR), following the legal requirements, current working practices and internal standards**:

**You will obtain and update the environmental permit**:

**You will manage control of hazardous materials and selection/deployment of personal protective equipment**:

**You will support the management of types of waste that is generated and manage all the environmental aspects, following the legal requirements and internal standards**_. _**:

**You will have to monitor and audit EHS activities, procedures and guidelines (e. g.

training, auditing of working places, respond to accidents, implement corrective actions and lead the 8D completion) following applicable procedures, law and Shire EHS Management System**:

**You will manage daily and monthly updates of KPI and aligned project status following reporting structures to assure all relevant information is at management's disposal**:

**You will manage preparation of instructions and implementation of training for all employees to ensure emergency preparedness of the site in case of fire evacuation and all other relevant events.

This must follow Shire and local law procedures**:

**You will** work together and coordinate with the occupational health services, HR and site's doctor on all matters in the field of safety and health at work**:

**You might represent us towards (local) government in EHS issues, if needed, following authority level and code of conduct, to exchange and gather information**:

**You will account for the EHS department budget and have to develop and implement EHS strategy and related budget, following regional, national, divisional or corporate guidelines, procedures and law, to advise Site Management.

**You will be in charge of Supervising Car fleet management and mobile devices attribution following Shire and local procedures**:

**WHAT YOU BRING TO TAKEDA**:

**Qualifications master's degree in EHS matters or Engineering (e. g.

Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial) or equivalent school background**:

**Recommended a previous multi-year experience in a multinational or manufacturing company in Safety and Environment fields**:

**RSPP certification is a preferential title**:
