Having been going through major changes recently, Wärtsilä Italia continues its transformation focusing on service business as well as on the development of innovative technologies. To support this, we are seeking a Head of HR Italy. Main tasks will be to actively support the strategic development of Wärtsilä Italy core businesses while continuing to run HR operations together with the local HR Team (4). In this role, you will interact on a daily basis with business stakeholders and colleagues in the different HR teams: Talent Acquisition, the People Support Hub, Business HR, CoEs, and with your peers abroad in the South & West Europe team. You are a member of the Wärtsilä Italy management team and pivotal in the success of Wärtsilä in Italy. To be successful in this role, we expect you to have: Minimum of 10 years experience in HR in a matrix-oriented environment. Minimum of 5 years leadership experience. Solid experience in driving transformation processes and engaging stakeholders. Dedicated service mentality towards employees and internal stakeholders as well as a hands-on attitude to cover both managerial and day-to-day tasks. Thorough experience in negotiating with Unions and Works Councils. Good knowledge of Italian employment laws and ability to apply legal concepts to real-world situations.
