Description: The Head of IARIC Quality and Continuous Improvement for the Internal Audit, Risk, and Internal Controls (IARIC) function owns the IARIC quality strategy and framework, manages the IARIC development portfolio, drives cross-functional IARIC projects, manages IARIC competence and people development framework and activities, and owns the IARIC communication strategy and framework.
Your Responsibilities: IARIC Quality Strategy and Framework: Owns and defines the IARIC quality strategy and framework, implements quality as part of daily IARIC activities and processes in collaboration with IARIC teams, executes, monitors, and reports IARIC quality measures as part of the IARIC KPI framework. IARIC Development Portfolio: Manages the IARIC development portfolio, consolidating team-specific improvement activities to cross-functional initiatives, defines and implements lean project methodologies, ensures projects stay within budget. Cross-Functional IARIC Projects: Owner of cross-functional IARIC projects, engages and assigns responsibility to specific IARIC teams, manages relationships with project consultants and vendors, keeps stakeholders informed. IARIC Competence and People Development Framework: Defines a common competence portfolio across IARIC teams, aligned with preferred Finance and Hitachi Energy competencies. IARIC Communication Strategy and Framework: Owns and defines the IARIC communication strategy in collaboration with Hitachi Energy and Finance Communications, leads the IARIC Quality and Continuous Improvement team, coaches and develops team members. Competencies and Knowledge Required: Master's degree or equivalent in business administration, economics, engineering, or other suitable background. Excellent written and spoken English, strong presentation skills. Strong collaboration and change management competencies. Experience in quality development, portfolio management, and project management. Strong leadership skills, ability to lead teams under high pressure. Experience Required: Minimum 10 years of experience in quality management, development programs, portfolio and/or project management. Experience in people development and communication/change management appreciated. Experience in interacting with senior management in a matrix organization. Experience from large fast-moving international companies.
