How you'll live your ambition: As Head of IT Operations Control, you'll join the IT Team at the Company's Headquarter in Genoa, Italy, reporting to the IT Operations Director.

You will manage the team and the suppliers responsible for overseeing and improving the IT Operations internal Processes in order to stabilize, secure, and optimize the performance of our Applications and Infrastructure systems, avoiding business disruption on shore and ship-side.

You will improve the event management process and monitoring tools, and work with the IT Infrastructure delivery team and our suppliers on our environment capacity planning to meet business demands.

You will streamline the IT Operations management processes to minimize delays while still maintaining control and oversight, monitoring performance through SLA and KPI.

You will ensure that the Operations processes align with the organization's strategic goals and support its overall business objectives.

Get things right How?

You will use data and feedback from the incident, problem, and change process to identify areas for improvement in IT operations.

You will manage and supervise the budget for the area.

Safety First: You will oversee IT security and compliance operations, and manage the vulnerability management process, audit controls execution, and maintenance of DR plan technical aspects.

Your innovative thinking and passion for IT systems will lead you to collaborate closely with all parts of the IT Team Operations.

What makes you unique: Your path requires previous experience or relevant professional experience (at least 5 years) as IT Service Manager in large companies and multinational contexts.

A degree in Computer Engineering or scientific disciplines, or comparable experience.

Proven management experience of complex IT systems (Infrastructures, Networks, Databases, Applications in cloud and on-premise) while respecting constraints.

Familiarity with key service management technology solutions (e. g. , ServiceNow, Remedy) as well as ITIL processes (e. g. , incident, problem, change management) and monitoring tools.

Ability to work with inter-functional stakeholders and focus on the customer's perspective.

As a global citizen, you embrace diversity and communicate fluently in English.

Sense of responsibility, a structured and analytical way of working, as well as the ability to work in a team and strong communication skills.
