For our client, a leading global automotive company, we are looking for the:

**HEAD OF LOGISTICS**:

**Main responsibilities**:

The Manager, reporting to the Sales Director and managing a team of resources, has the responsibility to coordinate and manage all logistics activities, supervise the factories' productive process and the supply process all over Italy.

Main Responsibilities:

- Budget planning and logistics costs monitoring

- Development and implementation of logistics processes and solutions, in order to optimize the distribution process

- Coordinate product's requests among factories and logistics hubs (Compounds)

- Analyze and supervise distribution and lead time among factories and logistics hub, and then among logistics hub and Dealers

- Supervise and coordinate forecast and production orders for factories

- Responsible of wholesale's forecasts, to reach monthly targets

- Coordinate model/color analysis of orders based on sales trend results and market insight

- Manage and update properly "Rundown" (Order-Shipment-Arrival-W/Sales-R/Sales-STK Monitoring by Model/Month)

- Manage cargo insurance and monitoring transportation damages

- Prepare reporting data to HQ

- Manage the ageing stock W/Sales Define and evaluate logistics' KPIs

- Constantly update the Sales Field and Dealers about the most relevant logistics aspects

- University Degree (Bachelor/MBA etc. )

in Economics or Engineering

- Minimum 5-8 years' experience in related position or specialization within the automotive industry as Team manager

- Excellent knowledge of Office Package and ERP (SAP)

- Team work approach and target oriented

- Good priority and time management

- Driving for results and working with critical thinking

- Fluent English
