Position summary The role of Head Marketing, Education and Communication Italy leads the brand management, marketing, education and business development for StraumannGroup's multi-brands implant business (Straumann, Neodent, Anthogyr, Nuvo), ortho franchise (ClearCorrect) and the digital business (CCS, Connected Customer Solutions, Medentika). The position holder is part of the Italian leadership team and co-drives growth to get, maintain and expand market leadership of Straumann Group. She/he coordinates revenue-generating marketing initiatives, promotes a high customer understanding, business acumen and develops professional relations with core customers, key opinion leaders, universities and dental associations. This position needs tight network with all relevant internal stakeholders in Italy, on Straumann Group EMEA and global level and contributes strongly to the Italian organization on the journey towards more customer centricity and people development. Own the internal and external communication strategy. He/she is a true team player and inspirational leader providing guidance while building trust and developing people. The team supports our colleagues in sales and customer care in their go-to-market approach, training & education, lead nurturing and customer development as well as solution offering and brand management. Together with our colleagues Hub South and EMEA, we are committed to develop and implement sales activities, marketing campaigns, product launch strategies and training & education approaches that grow our current customer bases and enables us to win competitive users. By addressing the entire value creation model of our customers, we help them to grow their patient base and increase profitability by incorporating new treatment concepts and driving innovation. Main tasks and responsibilities The Head Marketing Italy : Lead and develop the Marketing Team with a "player-learner" and customer centric mindset, to drive business impact. Attract, retain and engage the talents and lead the transformation from product to brand management. Active and strong contributor in the Italian Lead Team. Strong analytical thinking skills. Transformational Leadership mindset. Define, develop and execute Italy business strategies together with lead Team and related stakeholders in EMEA and HQ to increase brand awareness, net sales, number of customers, and share of wallet of existing customers. Ensure executions of marketing, communication and T&E activities in line with corporate guidelines, regulations, brand, product and price positionings. Prioritize and drive promotions, campaigns, pricing and commercial plans together with our sales leaders, global, subregional, and country counterparts. Collaborate with the Hub South and EMEA heads of marketing on best practice sharing. Define, together with the sales leaders and commercial excellence, the approach and KPIs to track lead generation activities, launch effectiveness, T&E impact, new customer acquisitions and marketing share growth. Develop a consistent communication strategy (internal and external). Manage and develop professional relations with Key Opinion Leaders, brand ambassadors, universities association and the Institute for Implantology (ITI). Experience & expertise Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, or communications. Master degree preferred. 5 years or more experience within a marketing, sales, brand/product management and/or business development framework. Sound knowledge in medical device/health care industry (experience in dental market is a nice to have). Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills. Experience with digital marketing, paid media and PR. Proven ability to plan and manage budgets. Experience in digital marketing and digital transformation. Track record in achieving challenging results. Track record in building and developing teams and people. Experience in being part of a lead team/management team. Comfortable with up to 40% travelling. Personal attributes & cultural fit Strong commercial acumen and drive. Strategic thinker with strong result orientation.
