Head Of Operations
To contribute to our Company's growth, we are looking for a **Head of Operations** who will be involved in the first phases of designing, assessing, and enhancing the efficiencies of operational processes for Argotec's Space Factory.
The role directs the function towards maximum performance thanks to the deep know-how of processes and procedures and will ensure an efficient, productive, and reliable production process together with the team.
As the Operations function is currently under formation, part of the main responsibilities of the role is related to the support of the senior management in building the function itself.

**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create the full end-to-end standard operating processes, ensuring these are clearly communicated, integrated, and delivered into the individual business units.
- Support the products' industrialization, the development, and the adjustment of industrial processes to production needs.
- Ensure the company's supply chain capabilities are optimized to drive economies of scale and implement a standardized supplier performance framework to enhance the cost, delivery, and quality performance.
- Define and implement an accurate production planning process that grants the adequate level of service to customers.
- Ensure the procurement of materials, in-bound logistics, storage, and the flow of materials to the production lines.
- Ensure the maintenance of the company's premises including buildings, warehouses, and factories.
- Coordinate with sales, engineering, and other departments to further develop markets, products, and procedures.
- Ensure that the operation meets legal standards and company police.
- Supervise, appraise, coach staff, and train team members.
**REQUIRED EXPERIENCES & SKILLS
- Degree in a technical field (Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent).
- Minimum 10 years' experience in operations management, preferably in similar industrial products.
- A minimum of 5 years in a manufacturing/plant operations leadership role.
- Preferably knowledge of Space Industry specific regulations.
- Knowledge of automation in production processes.
- Preferably knowledge of quality tools like Six Sigma, 5-Why, Ishikawa, FMEA.
- Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating logistics.
- Strong experience in reporting on key production metrics.
- Ability to self-motivate with efficient time-management and prioritization skills and meet deadlines and ability to work well under pressure and across all levels of seniority.
- Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach.
- Outstanding communication ability and excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Fluent in English.
