This is an opportunity to be part of the Polestar journey and be able to form and shape the automotive industry in Italy.
We are looking for someone who has experience and demonstrated top result within operations management in the automotive industry.
As Head of Operations, you will directly report to the Managing Director Italy and be responsible to lead the market in the key area of operations and logistics.
You will be responsible to oversee and improve delivery operations to ensure financial results on monthly and yearly basis, including new delivery formats (Home delivery, Hubs).
You will design and implement operational go-to-market strategy, set comprehensive targets for performance and growth management and develop market specific solution of central corporate requirements for Polestar Italy, headquartered in Milan.
**What you'll do
You will for example:
- Manage stock levels, secure sufficient production for Italian market in close alignment with the Managing Director and the Head of Sales
- Prioritize and manage key business requirements with central teams, to ensure important digital developments
- Manage stakeholders and ensure the highest quality and capacity of ground operations in market (handover centers, operators, transport partners)
- Develop, monitor, and improve logistic flows from compound to customer to accelerate customer journey and order to cash time
- Define and achieve KPIs to ensure premium quality of customer service within the corporate strategy
- Design and improve Customer Journey for Italian customers (B2C, B2B and Fleet) in alignment with Sales departments
- Create seamless and sustainable customer experience by continuously optimizing processes from order to repurchase
- Oversee and improve delivery operations to ensure financial results on monthly and yearly basis, including new delivery formats (Home delivery, Spaces, handovers centers)
- Develop financial service offer by reviewing the market and adding products
- Develop and innovate customer service approach to deliver Polestar-like customer touchpoints and create transparency in OtD journey
- Provide capacity to support Sales teams (Spaces, Fleet, CRC) with market analytics, order management, customer support to secure achievement of local Sales target
- Manage relationships with Space Operators and other key business partners and lead negotiations of prices and services
- Assist in setup and management of customer service and support teams' integration to ensure an equally high-quality experience for every customer
- Create and implement long term strategy for direct sales model in Italy including the scaling of critical business areas, together with Sales

**Your skills
- Fluent in Italian and English, both verbally and written skills
- University degree recommended
- A proven leader, with ability to lead and inspire various formal and informal teams
- Experience in driving creative processes and operations
- Structured and effective with excellent communication skills with all stakeholders: from customers to investors
- Strong administration and organization skills, ability to prioritize
- Strong customer service focus and proactive attitude
- Result-oriented and attention to details
- Strong interpersonal skills and proactive approach to problem solving
- High ability to cooperate and work in a team environment with the ambition to share experiences and learn from others
- Good analytical skills and constant, strong determination to improve and drive progress
