Head Of People
The Head of People is responsible for overseeing the entire people function of the organization, including recruitment, employee engagement, talent development, performance management and company culture.
This leadership role ensures that the company attracts, retains, and develops top talent while fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
The Head of People collaborates with senior leadership to align the people strategy with the company's business goals, driving growth and employee satisfaction.
Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the people strategy in alignment with overall business goals.
Serve as a strategic advisor to the executive team on all people-related matters, including organizational design, talent management, and succession planning.
Lead and inspire the People Operations team to drive high performance, engagement, and continuous improvement.
Culture and Employee Engagement: Foster a strong, inclusive company culture that aligns with the organization's values and mission.
Design and execute employee engagement programs that boost morale, motivation, and retention.
Monitor employee feedback through surveys, focus groups, and one-on-one discussions, and implement improvements based on insights.
Talent Acquisition and Retention: Oversee the recruitment strategy to attract high-quality candidates and ensure a seamless hiring process.
Implement effective talent retention strategies, including competitive compensation, recognition programs, and career development opportunities.
Develop succession plans for key roles across the company.
Performance Management and Development: Oversee the performance management process, ensuring clear goal-setting, feedback, and development plans are in place for all employees.
Lead initiatives for employee training, learning, and development programs to help individuals reach their full potential.
Create leadership development programs that prepare high-potential employees for future leadership roles.
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI): Drive DEI initiatives to ensure the workplace is diverse, equitable, and inclusive.
Build strategies that support diversity in hiring, retention, and employee development.
Promote a culture of belonging where employees of all backgrounds feel valued and included.
HR Operations and Compliance: Ensure all HR policies and procedures comply with local labor laws and global b*st practices.
Oversee payroll, benefits, and compensation to ensure fairness and market competitiveness.
Continuously review and update HR policies to reflect changes in the business environment and regulations.
HR Analytics and Reporting: Leverage HR data and analytics to track employee performance, engagement, turnover rates, and other key metrics.
Provide regular reports and insights to senior management to drive informed decision-making regarding people strategy.
Identify trends and recommend proactive measures to address workforce challenges.
Key Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
Proven experience in senior HR leadership roles, preferably as a Head of People, HR Director, or similar.
Strong understanding of HR b*st practices, labor laws, and compliance requirements.
Demonstrated experience in building and leading high-performing teams.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
Ability to influence and partner with senior leaders to drive organizational success.
Proven track record in developing and executing successful people strategies.
Preferred Qualifications: HR certification (e. g. , SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR).
Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Familiarity with HRIS and other people management tools.
Passion for creating a positive employee experience and driving organizational culture.
Working Conditions: Full-time position based in Milan.
Occasional travel may be required for recruitment, training, or company-wide initiatives.
