**Main Responsibilities / Activities

The Head of Project Management Office (PMO) ensures that funded projects are executed effectively and efficiently assuring delivery on time and within budget.

The PMO is responsible for developing and maintaining high standards by establishing best in class project management methodologies, standards, and tools.

This individual communicates to Executive Management on all projects within the program portfolio and oversees the project management process including governance, team leadership, monitoring, prioritization, communication, and quality controls.

The Head of PMO reports directly into the Coesia Operations & Service Platform Director.

Main responsibilities include:

- Creating and leading a Project Management Center of Excellence in alignment with Project Management Institute (PMI) guidelines, quality standards and company requirements.

- Driving relevant strategic transformation initiatives at Coesia level, as per the objectives assigned.

- Developing, implementing, governing, and continuously improving Project Management processes, dashboards, templates, policies, and metrics.

- Developing standards and identifying best practices and opportunities of synergy across the different Coesia Divisions.

- Coaching and mentoring project management practitioners and sharing knowledge of best practices.

- Building and developing relationships with relevant project stakeholders at all levels within the organization, acting as a point of reference across the different functions involved in a given project.

**Basic Requirements

- Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in the Project Management field

- Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering

- Relevant track record of performance in complex organizations, within OEM / Machinery industry

- PMI/PMP certification preferred

- Good knowledge of IT tools related to project management (MS Project or similar)

- Results-orientation

- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills

- Excellent knowledge of both Italian and English language

- Availability to travel upon request, for no more than 30% of the time
