With Polestar's expansion into Italy this role will have strategic
- and operational responsibility for the company's activities in the market.
This position is focused on establishing the exciting new Polestar brand and retail footprint to drive sales and revenue, deliver outstanding customer experience and generate sustainable profitability - therefore this role will need to manage both hands on operational tasks together with long-term focus on establishing a successful new EV-brand.

Polestar in Italy is expanding the team.
This is an opportunity to be part of the Polestar journey and be able to form and shape the sales development in Italy.
We are looking for someone who has experience and demonstrated top result within sales management in the automotive industry.
You will be responsible to secure the sales development in Italy, handling the interface and coordination with Polestar.
Plan and secure sales performance and deliver on targets.
Hold a key role in developing the commercial setup for Polestar in Italy.
You will be reporting directly to the Managing Director Polestar Italy and the role is based in Milan, Italy.
**What you´ll do
The key responsibility of the role is to develop and maintain sales operations in fleet, remarketing and sales channels.
You will for example:
- Review and develop the company's sales performance; achieving monthly, quarterly and annual order targets and profitability performance within target areas
- Lead and manage the day to day relationship with the key corporate customers and leasing companies
- Contribute to the development and delivery of the company's sales and marketing activities, particularly but not exclusive to target areas
- Ensure that the corporate fleet is effectively managed, and its usage optimized
- Investor relations management
- Financial service partner management
- Retail sales / Space management
- Build and manage the Inside Sales Team responsible for lead gen and management to drive orders
- Develop strategies for best practice within responsible areas
- Strategic volume planning, monitoring and analysis for new car stock & pipeline
- Partner with cross-functional teams: market, central, partner, PODs, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment across the organization and maximize quality, impact and efficiency of new car supply
- Assist the Head of Operations with managing order to delivery processes and projects
- Some travel is to be expected, both in country and to company headquarters
**Who you are
We see that you are an experienced leader within the sales department and the automotive industry, with more than three years' working experience and sales strategy experience preferably in premium car brands.
We are looking for you who understands the customer needs in the automotive area as well as in other consumer areas.
You are driven, proactive, and see the value in collaboration and innovation.

- Fluent in Italian and English, both verbally and written skills, other languages are meritorious
- High sales focus and customer-centric thinking
- A proven project leader, with ability to lead and inspire various formal and informal teams
- Experience in driving creative processes
- Structured and effective with excellent communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and proactive approach to problem solving
- Passion for cars and customers
- High ability to cooperate and work in a team environment with the ambition to share experiences and learn from others
- Good business acumen and analytical skills
