Head Of Sales - Contract Logistics
JBAndrews is partnering with a large global logistics company to help them embark on a major mission to drive the growth of their warehousing and contract logistics services.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B sales , third-party logistics (3PL) , and warehousing solutions , with a proven ability to develop new business opportunities and build long-term client relationships.
The role: - Develop and coordinate a team of CL (Contract Logistics) Sales - Develop and execute a sales strategy focused on expanding long-term warehousing and contract logistics services.
- Identify and acquire new customers, understanding their logistics needs, offering tailored storage and distribution solutions, building relations - Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients, optimizing their warehousing contracts and identifying new opportunities.
Contribute to customer satisfaction and retention developing customer-centric solutions, collaborating with internal departments - Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and potential business opportunities.
- Prepare and present customized commercial proposals, including pricing, service agreements, and contract negotiations.
- Collaborate closely with Operations, Finance, HR, IT, Quality and Compliance to ensure seamless service implementation.
- Manage the sales pipeline and maintain an up-to-date CRM with sales activities and customer interactions.
- Achieve and exceed sales and revenue targets in line with company objectives.
The Requirements: Based in Milan 5+ years of experience in sales within the Italian warehousing, contract logistics, or 3PL industry.
Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Fluent in English Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Willingness to travel as needed.
Strong leadership, diplomatic, and motivational skills across different contexts.
Ability to influence and gain buy-in from sponsors, teams, stakeholders, and colleagues.
Proven ability to work within defined timeframes.
