This role is a strategic leadership position, with a 70% focus on team management and 30% as an individual contributor. We are also open to considering Sales Team Leaders who are ready to take the next step into a full Sales Manager role.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to scale their leadership impact while remaining commercially hands-on. You'll be responsible for managing a team of four Enterprise Account Executives, driving revenue growth, and closing high-value deals with enterprise retailers and e-commerce businesses. Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 4 Enterprise Account Executives, ensuring they achieve and exceed targets. Sales Strategy: Define and execute the sales strategy for e-commerce and BNPL solutions across Italy, ensuring alignment with company goals. Revenue Growth: Own and drive sales performance, ensuring the team delivers on ambitious revenue and acquisition targets. Enterprise Sales: Engage in high-priority enterprise deals, building relationships with C-level executives and decision-makers. Coaching & Performance Management: Provide ongoing training, guidance, and performance feedback to enhance the effectiveness of the sales team. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Partnerships, and Product to optimize sales processes and messaging. Market Expansion: Identify new business opportunities and emerging trends in the e-commerce and payments industry to drive company growth. What We're Looking For7+ years of sales experience, with at least 2+ years managing a team in the e-commerce, payments, or BNPL industry. OR 2+ years of experience as a Sales Team Leader, ready to step into a Sales Manager role. Proven track record of leading high-performing sales teams and closing enterprise-level deals. Strong knowledge of the Italian e-commerce and retail market, with established relationships in the industry. A data-driven and strategic mindset with the ability to analyze sales performance and optimize processes. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Hands-on leadership style – willing to coach, inspire, and lead by example. Fluent in Italian and English (both written and spoken). Why Join?
