Position Overview:
This is an exciting time to join the Roquette Pharmaceutical business.
Roquette has grown nearly twice the rate of the market by close customer collaboration, new innovative products, and expanding into new markets.
Today we are seeking our new Head of Sales, Europe Region to lead and implement our commercial strategy tied to the Pharmaceuticals business growth plan
**Job Description**:
- Position location: Open to major EU hub cities
- Lead revenue growth across the entire European market
- Lead and Manage the sales team, co-develop and implement the global sales strategy ; including Pricing, Negotiation and building a strong pipeline
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional area/regional leaders including; Product Line Management, R&D, Distribution, Marketing, and support functions to manage the opportunity pipeline, ensuring Roquette achieves its financial commitments Implement business processes, standards and tools developed globally, ensure local adaptation for compliance
- Act as the executive contact for customers
- Attract, recruit, develop sales team competencies; talent development, training, succession planning, engagement strategies
- Develop and maintain KPIs that lead the team toward high performing goals and a reputation for ingenuity and customer success, driving behaviors towards individual business generation
- Build strong cross-functional relationships with senior sales and operational leaders Budget creation, ownership & leadership

- Management and leadership skills
- Strong sales negotiation, business acumen, commercial leadership
- Have a strong consumer/commercial mindset & perspective that takes precedent & is integrated into all activities, strategies and plans
- Ability to work transversally, strong global influencing skills
- Clear thinking & communications; ability to manage large amounts of complex data and distill information into a concise, clear, well thought out plan for the Sales function
- Ability to develop high performing sales teams
- Talent development; ability to develop a talent pipeline, succession plans, individual development plans, and appropriate people & engagement strategies
- Stellar communications; ability to effectively communicate to senior leadership, boards, partners & customers
**Qualifications**:
- 10-15+ years' experience in a commercial leadership role with strong emphasis in Sales
- Regional or global footprint experience
- BS in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology, Science or related technical degree, MS and/or MBA preferred Experience in Pharma
