Health & Safety And Risk Protection Manager
We are looking for a position in the Corporate Risk Protection Department for one of our clients - an Italian company in the luxury sector.
The ideal candidate has in-depth Health & Safety experience , especially in the luxury sector, possesses strong project management and coordination skills, and has the technical, regulatory and legal knowledge and expertise of an RSPP/ASPP.
For the position sought, an academic engineering background and a pragmatic mental attitude are preferable, and soft skills such as leadership, negotiation, problem solving, communication, interpersonal skills, strategic vision and operational flexibility are essential.
The position will perform activities reporting to the Worldwide Risk Protection Director.
Main tasks and responsibilities include: Contributing to the identification of risk factors, risk assessment in compliance with the Italian regulation in force.
Manage H&S requirements in the contractors' contract.
Design, plan and coordinate event from a safety perspective.
Verify the qualification of the working execution phase during store restructuring/constructions projects directly or through local references.
Supervise restructuring/construction works to guarantee the good and safe outcome of activities (before, during and after works).
Coordinate the safety aspects during the project of restructuring/construction sites related to shops, offices, events.
Carry out H&S audit on restructuring/construction sites.
Organize ordinary/extraordinary maintenance of all the technological plants and/or the new acquisitions of equipment, verifying the compliance with the safety requirements established by the laws in force.
Participate in H&S regulatory monitoring and ensure compliance with all H&S regulatory requirements (authorization, communications to public administration, etc.
validity, possible expiration date of documents, archiving and filing).
Verify that suppliers operate in compliance with laws and company HSE policies.
Develop adequate safety procedures for employees.
Perform Root Cause Analysis for workplace accidents.
In cooperation with the HR department, plan and manage periodic injury prevention training of personnel as foreseen by the law.
Experience in organizing and managing events, an excellent knowledge of English (B2 level or higher mandatory) willingness to be frequently mobile within the assigned territory, and mastery of the Office package complete the profile.
Qualifications as RSPP and safety trainer are appreciated.
