Health & Safety Manager
Barilla G. & R. Fratelli wants to recruit an Health & Safety Manager who will be based in Parma and will report to the HSE&E Director.
**Job Purpose
In observance of the regulations in force and with reference to Health & Safety, the person will design and carry out:
- Policies, Procedures, Systems and Tools
- Risks evaluation and mitigation
- Improvement initiatives and projects
- Performance monitoring
- Audit Program Coordination
- Benchmark activities and individuation of best practices
- Training and initiatives for developing HSEE knowledge and culture
**Key Accountabilities
**HSE&E management system
- Define Policies, Targets, Guidelines and Management Systems for Health and Safety issues according to ISO 45001
- Monitor Legislation's changes and the evolution of Regulations and Standards and ensure they are duly reflected in the Company's Guideline documents
- Ensure proper communication with local functions and support them in implementing guidelines and systems
**Audit Program
Ensure, based on the defined calendar and on the area of competence, that Company audits are carried out with the purpose of ascertaining those policies and standards are observed by co-ordinating external certification companies, identifying risk areas, critical situations and points of notice, preparing reports with findings for the HSEE Director and the internal functions involved and proposing improvement actions.
**Projects and improvement initiatives
- In close contact with the other functions involved and for the area of competence, implement the projects assigned with the purpose of rationalising, standardising and improving processes, procedures and tools in connection with HS issues.
- Analyse project's efficiency and efficacy and monitor the progress of activities.
**Risks evaluation and mitigation
Propose projects aimed at reducing risks and improving performance and seeing to their implementation by managing contacts with the internal bodies involved, constantly monitoring the progress of activities and taking action in case of critical events.
**Benchmarking and best practices
Execute internal/external benchmarking activities in order to identify and share best practices and any improvement plan, for the development of the HSE&E culture, through constant contact with the dedicated local functions and by preparing reports and presentations with findings for the HSEE Director and the internal functions involved.

- Develop training activity in order to increase their competence
**HS Training Programs
- Analyse training needs & develop adequate programs
- Organize high-quality HS trainings also using training centers
- Identify appropriate induction training content
**Requirements**:
- Degree in Safety/Environmental/Management Engineering
- At least 3 years' experience in Supply Chain
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written
- Organisational skills
- Analytical mindset
- Good communicator, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to collaborate in cross-functional team
- Drive change, curiosity and continuous improvement attitude
- Good traveler due to frequent trips
