We're looking for people with drive and curiosity, who will join us in re-writing the norm!OverviewWe are looking for a Health & Safety Specialist to join our HR department, reporting functionally to the Group Health & Safety Manager at InPost.
The resource will be responsible for coordinating and managing activities related to Health and Safety at work and within our warehouses, working closely with the Health & Safety consultant.
The role will also involve managing visits, training courses, meetings, and collecting the necessary documents for Health and Safety plans.
The role will also be responsible for creating and maintaining accurate reporting related to all activities connected to the field. Key responsibilities:Coordinate and manage Health & Safety activities at work and in company warehousesCollaborate with the Health & Safety consultant to ensure compliance with current regulationsOrganize and manage medical visits, training courses, health and safety meetings, PPE assignment and monitoring deadlinesCollect and archive the necessary documents for Health & Safety plansConstantly monitor and update company safety proceduresConduct internal audits to verify compliance with regulationsProvide support and advice to internal staff on Health & Safety issuesCreate, monitor, and update reporting related to all activities connected to the fieldSupport the management of maintenance practices related to assets in the warehouses (plants, fire safety systems)Support the organization in managing environmental issues by completing loading/unloading records and supervising waste management activitiesWhat you'll need to succeed:Preferably a degree in Engineering, Prevention Techniques, or related disciplines3 years of previous experience as a Health & Safety Specialist, with proven experience in risk assessment activities, incident investigation, and safety auditingThorough knowledge of Legislative Decree 81/2008 and regulations related to workplace health and safetyExcellent knowledge of written and spoken EnglishWillingness to travel between various company sites (Northern Italy, on a monthly basis)The candidate must have their own car and a valid driver's licenseThe candidate must be based in Milan and available to be in the office 3 out of 5 daysAbility to work in a team and collaborate with various company functionsExcellent organizational and time management skillsAttention to detail and problem-solving skillsNice to have:Background in the logistics sectorSpecific certifications in health and safety at workKnowledge of the French languageWhat We Offer:Excellent Work-life balanceOpportunities for career growth and development.
