As HEMA Specialist you will be responsible for generating Ambu Italy Health Economic efforts.

This includes generating health economic evidence and tools to support Ambu's sales organisation and identifying cost efficiencies across the product portfolios.

Key aspects of the position will be to design and oversee health economic studies and to use that data to develop cost effectiveness models, sales supporting materials and tools, such as budget impact models.

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

- Generate health economic evidence for our products, including cost-comparison studies and cost-effectiveness analyses

- Strong collaboration with Corporate HEMA

- Develop health economic sales support tools for hospital stake holders

- Design studies to generate needed data to support reimbursement/coding efforts

- Support sales organization by conducting budget impact models for large accounts in both public and private sectors

- Communicate health economic results with internal and external customers in order to manage business relationships with all Stakeholders and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs)

- Design and Develop education and training to sales team on health economics and how to best communicate health economic studies and results

- Work with external societies to communicate results and influence decision making to favour use of disposable products

- Develop health economic data to support the desired product positioning

- Assist the Product Manager in carrying out the health economic side of clinical studies

- In collaboration with the Product Managers research new markets, reimbursement levels and economic drivers.

- Assist Product Managers with any health economic resources or questions around costs involving our products.

- Represent Italy at international events/meetings.

- Recommend and administer policies and procedures to enhance operations.

**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

- Desirable to have experience within medical devices/tech

- Knowledge of the National Health System

- Ability to handle pressure, complex situations, and problem-solving capacity

- Ability to think analytically and strategically

- Efficiency, collaboration, openness, results orientation, and commitment to a consultative approach to decision-making

- Familiar with relevant guidelines and policies in the medical environment

- Strong understanding of Medical Device Market and role of Health Economist.

- Ability to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects

- Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to motivate teams

- Will be personable, friendly and outgoing

- A self-starter, able to work on their own and use their own initiative

- Able to engage with all levels of internal and external stakeholders

- Good administration skills

**EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS

(**_Minimum_** qualifications for the position)

- Degree in Health Economics, Health Policy, Market Access or related branch of study

- Masters degree preferred or equivalent work experience

- Minimum 1+ years of work experience in Health Economic related field - Medical devices field is a plus

- Fluent English, both written and spoken.

- Computer Literate - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, CRM database.
