**About the Health, Safety & Environment Specialist position**:
**The Health, Safety & Environment Specialist responsibilities are**:
- ensure the site and employees are working in a safe and controlled environment and in accordance to the local/regional environmental health & safety regulations;
- implement the Seveso regulation system, according to the legislative decree 105/2015;
- review safety analysis using the main hazard evaluation techniques (e. g.
HAZOP, What-If, FMEA, Fault-Tree Analysis, )
- assure EHS standards respect ethics and norms in front of requests coming from internal and external Stake Holders;
- support EHS Manager in the relevant EHS issues by guaranteeing that EHS problems are correctly managed;
- support EHS Manager about the risk factors identification, risks assessment, definition of measures for health and safety in the workplaces and to minimize impact on the environment, in compliance with the laws in force and based on specific knowledge of plant organization;
- ensure EHS Risk Assessments are effective, updated and communicated;
- propose and organize workers' information and training programs;
- support EHS Manager in preparation of instructions, procedures and implementation of training for all employees;
- collaborate with other departments, giving them appropriate technical and regulatory support in order to define prevention and protection measures to be taken;
- collaborate with engineering team for the definition of the user requirements for chemical process implementation;
- review chemical process and follow the process development in order to understand which are the parameters critical for safety and environment.
**Health, Safety & Environment Specialist requirements are**:
- Master Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent school background.
- Base knowledge of industrial Chemical Plants.
- Strong MS Office skills, good knowledge of other analytic tools.
- Good knowledge of safety and environmental laws (e. g.
D. L. 81/08; D. L. 105/15; D. L. 152/06).
- Strong motivational & interpersonal skills.
Excellent communication skills.
- Good proficiency in English.
- Previous experience in this field would be a plus.
