Health Sector Expert (Cat. Ii)
NTU International A/S is leading a consortium for the implementation of the EU funded project called: Technical Assistance to Mobilise Stakeholders around Global Gateway Priorities in Nigeria and is searching for experts to support the core team during the implementation of this project.
The primary objective of this contract is to support the effective mobilisation of stakeholders (Member States, development financial institutions, public and private sectors) around the Global Gateway priorities in Nigeria, including, but not limited to, digital economy, transport and health as well as cross cutting thematic such as innovative financing, business climate and governance, through structured engagement and strategic intelligence gathering.
Project Duration: The indicative start date is 03/03/2025 and the period of implementation of the contract will be 729 Day(s) from this date (indicative end date: 02/03/2027).
Health Sector Expert (Cat.
II): ? Qualifications and skills: Advanced degree in Public Health, Health Economics, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
Strong analytical and strategic planning skills with experience in health sector economics, policy analysis, and investment structuring.
Proficiency in data analysis software, market intelligence tools, and reporting platforms is preferred.
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement abilities, along with a demonstrated capacity to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Fluency in English is required.
Minimum of 6 years of experience in the health sector, with a focus on health systems strengthening, investment facilitation, and public-private partnerships.
Prior experience working in developing countries, ideally in sub-Saharan Africa, with an understanding of the health policy and economic landscape.
Proven track record of working in collaborative, multi-stakeholder projects that involve government agencies, private sector, and international organizations.
Demonstrated experience in identifying and securing health sector investments, with expertise in market dynamics, regulatory frameworks, and investment risk mitigation.
Strong familiarity with health financing models and innovative funding mechanisms tailored for developing country contexts.
Prior involvement in strategic health initiatives that required extensive stakeholder mobilisation and policy engagement.
Experience in developing and implementing sector-specific roadmaps, with a focus on health system resilience, public health infrastructure, and digital health technologies.
Knowledge of EU health policies and initiatives, as well as experience working with EU institutions or projects funded by international donors.
