Healthcare Assistants Nursing Homes (Irlanda)Healthcare Assistants to work with Irish Nursing Homes throughout Ireland The management and staff at Nursing Home aim to provide an environment which is home from home for all our Residents.

The role of the Care Assistant is to support nursing staff and care team in the delivery of care to the residents of the Nursing Home.

General Responsibilities: Supporting the nursing staff in providing high-quality holistic care to our residents. Ensuring residents' hygiene/personal care needs are maintained to the highest standards while maintaining the resident's dignity at all times. Support residents during meal times and assist residents as required with meals under the supervision of nursing staff. Assist and encourage residents with mobility. Assist with activities when required. Perform any other appropriate duties as designated by the CNM's Care manager and Nursing Staff. Education: Ideally healthcare qualified (Care Skills and Care of the Elderly). Applicants currently studying towards this qualification will also be considered. Some companies will hire people without any healthcare qualifications and provide them with all the necessary training for the role. Experience in care of the elderly would be highly desirable but not essential. Applicants must be entitled to the Free Movement Right regarding employment in the European Union. Working Conditions: Permanent contractSalary: from €13. 5 to €18. 00 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience. Companies can help candidates to source accommodation.
