Industrial & Energy Technology (IET) Services Repair Network is the fulfillment center of many innovative Service models in the Heavy Duty space.
The Heavy Duty (HD) Repair Material Planner will be responsible to manage the overall HD Repair Network Materials Advance buy, connecting it to the Rotable Component Process, sustaining execution performances improvement (OTD/TAT), and managing relationship with GE counterpart to assure proper monitoring and proactive problem solving of projects pipeline.
As a Heavy Duty Repair Material Planner some of your responsibilities will be:
- To develop a comprehensive long term plan for advance buy of materials (capital, consumables) to sustain repairs of HD gas turbines for the entire HD repair network.
- Partnering with Forecast Materials team and Repair Shop Network, he/she will be responsible to collect and generate the list of critical parts to be bought in advance, the output will be included in the S&OP demand/supply quarterly cycle.
- Develop a digital and sustainable tool in order to track the materials demand/supply matches, integrated with the Rotable's planning.
- Monitor the Rotable components process and execute the related Asset Management tasks.
- Interact w/ITO COE to foster rotable approach adoption into TX business.
- Manage the relationship with GE by driving execution of the HD repair projects pipeline that are shared with the partner.
- Drive the development and planning of the strategy for GE technology large frames Rotor Life Extension and repairs across the regions.
- Assure proper planning and scheduling of RLE slots and monitor progresses accordingly.
- Support qualification activities of GE shops, engaging proper functions (ENG, QUAL) when needed
**Fuel your passion
To succeed in this role you will:
- Hold a MSc.
or BSc.
in Engineering
- Have 2+ year-experience in Supply Chain Management
- Have at least an entry level understanding of PowerBI
- Be APICS certified as a plus
- Have ability to influence others and lead small teams
- Lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact
- Have ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously
- Have effective problem identification and solution skills
- Have proven analytical and organizational ability
