Job Description:HEAVY MOBILE EQUIPMENT MECHANIC (FLO)FOR THIS POSITION APPLICATIONS CAN BE SUBMITTED IN ITALIAN OR IN ENGLISH. Applications will be accepted from INTERNAL Local National employees who are seeking promotion or reassignment.

Incumbent troubleshoots, maintains, and makes repairs to all systems of heavy mobile equipment and vehicles such as hydraulically operated mobile surface platforms, cranes, road graders, bulldozers, power shovels, fire trucks, wreckers, fuel dispensing trucks, heavy-duty dump trucks, and forklifts.

Using various tools, makes major repairs to all systems (diesel and gasoline engines, automatic and manual transmissions, heavy-duty drive line systems, and hydraulic utility systems and controls).

Disassembles, repairs, and reassembles engines, and component parts of transmission, drive line, and differential systems.

Repairs hydraulic systems by replacing or adjusting valves, gears, and pistons.

Performs less complex repair and maintenance on the types of equipment identified above.

Adjusts distributors, spark plugs, sets engine idle and timing, and makes similar adjustments.

Troubleshoots, maintains, and repairs commercial and domestic kitchen equipment, small engines, and bicycles.

Operates a forklift to move, stack, unstack, load, and unload materials. NOTE: Tour of duty is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 08. 00 to 17. 00, including a 1-hour uncompensated lunch break.

(INCLUDES BLUEPRINT READING) ABILITY TO USE AND MAINTAIN TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT TROUBLE SHOOTING HOW YOU WILL BE EVALUATED: In order to qualify for this position, your application must provide sufficient experience to meet the requirements of the position.
