Job Description Summary**:

You'll be part of the Avio Aero's Digital Technology team, acting as a Technical Product Specialist for engineering software.

In particular, you'll be coordinating the operations and the implementation of new projects for "Computer-aided Engineering (CAE)", "High Performance Computing (HPC)" and "Computer-aided Testing (CAT)" systems.

You'll be responsible for operating in accordance with domain leaders, as a product manager, for the successful delivery of software solutions throughout their lifecycle.

You will have the responsibility to clearly develop and communicate a strategic direction and descriptive requirements, benchmarking and even challenging the state-of-the-art and dealing with different disciplines.

**Essential Responsibilities

- Own and manage the portfolios of CAE software products, HPC services and CAT tools to enable and support the implementation of NPI/NTI programs

- Manage Product lifecycle and obsolescence, develop and present business cases for investments in CAE, HPC, and CAT technologies

- Participate actively in planning research and development activities

- Act as the team liaison with the Engineering community, proactively engaging them to ensure proper support, to understand business needs and to provide or develop proper solutions to address them

- Identify and assess new technologies that can add value and capability to GE

- Build rapport with the team and gets buy-in for ideas

- Drive stakeholder understanding and acceptance of new ideas in their business

- Solicit ideas for improving primary business processes

- Elaborate and map business requirements into functional and technical solutions

- Partner with the development team, business stakeholders, vendors, universities and research institutions to deliver product features and functions while aligning your medium/long term strategic vision with short term tactical goals, prioritizing your backlog and creating consensus around the execution of the strategy

**Qualifications/Requirements**:

- Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related discipline

- Fluent English language

- EU work permit- Solid experience on HPC-related projects, aiming for example at providing faster response times for CAE simulations, at managing large size design models, and at supporting engineering collaboration across the organization.

- Familiarity with CAT software and technology
