**About the job

We are looking for a **HIL Development Technical Project Leader **to join our headquarters at Sant'Agata Bolognese (BO), reporting hierarchically to the **Head of SW Integration Whole Vehicle**.

You will be responsible to steer the introduction of technological solutions such as Hardware In the Loop (HIL) for systems, subsystems and whole vehicle, with the aim of increasing the capabilities of simulations and automations.

The mission of this role is to facilitate as much as possible the work of test engineers in testing complete vehicle (or systems) functions inside a simulated environment.

- Technical supervision of whole project/s inside his responsibility perimeter, with the target to monitor the projects, according to defined target of timing, design, weight, performances and quality

- Responsibility for design and development of Hardware In the Loop for System, Subsystems or Whole Vehicle

- Responsibility for extract all the requirements of the simulators for their provision

- Responsibility for design all the HW requirements for the benches, in order to allow the Facilities team to construct them with all the necessary information

- Responsibility for design or adapt vehicle models for their integration inside HIL simulators

- Responsibility for design and development of test suites for automated test on the HILs

- Responsibility for supervising content definition and development for all the dynamic benches

- Steer all the HW provisions for benches, in terms of simulators, loggers or other required tools

- Interface with Audi/VW/CARIAD for exchanging information and lesson learnings on Static benches and new state of the arts

- Responsibility for tendering, sourcing, steering and monitoring of external engineering partners.

**About you

- Engineering Degree

- At least 3 years of experience in similar role

- Fully proficient in English, German as a plus but not mandatory

- Experience in developing HIL systems

- Automotive, Manufacturing Industries (similar processes/ complexity)

- Planning and organization

- Self-confident especially under work pressures

- Problem solving

- Experience with tools such as DSpace simulators
