To expand our engineering team we are searching for a highly motivated:

HIL Systems Engineer You will play a key role in developing and maintaining Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) systems to validate our advanced driveline technologies.

This includes automating test environments using Python , leveraging MATLAB/Simulink to design and analyze systems, and contributing to the implementation of CI/CD pipelines for efficient and scalable testing workflows.

Key Responsibilities: Develop, maintain, and enhance Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) systems for testing and validation of automotive transmission and driveline components.

Design and implement automated testing scripts using Python to ensure robust and efficient validation processes.

Utilize MATLAB/Simulink for model-based design, simulation, and analysis of system behavior under various operating conditions.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, simulation, and software engineering, to define and execute V&V strategies for safety-critical software.

Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline the integration and validation of system models and test environments.

Identify, diagnose, and resolve issues related to HIL systems, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of validation outcomes.

Posizione: Trentino-Alto Adige (hybrid)

Qualifications: Educational Background : Successfully completed STEM studies (Engineering, Informatics, Mathematics, Physics).

Technical Skills : Strong expertise in MATLAB/Simulink for simulation and analysis.

Proficient in Python for scripting and automation.

Basic knowledge of C, C++.

Experience with HIL systems (development and maintenance); knowledge of dSPACE systems is a plus but not mandatory.

Familiarity with CI/CD practices , tools, and pipelines for continuous integration and testing.

Good Level of English and Italian Soft Skills :

Problem-solving mindset with a strong analytical approach.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Attention to detail and a proactive attitude toward continuous improvement.
