Accountable for sales of products and services within the country both direct (Airbus) or indirect (lessors, distributors, integrators, industrial partners and maintenance service centers )
. Accountable for maximizing the value created by the internal Airbus in accordance with the Airbus Italy strategy
. Accountable for the supervision of the overall performance of local activities in the Airbus, including turnover, margin, and working capital in line with the Airbus objectives
. Accountable for the implementation and development of the Front Office in the country
. Unify and cascade the commercial policy in the country
. Fulfill Regional booking targets and achieve financial objectives (Gross Margin, Down payments, Cash collection)
. Responsible for Customer Satisfaction concerning all Sales activities within the country
. Ensure appropriate communication to Government and local authorities, customers, other stakeholders (local media, etc. )
and the public in the frame of Airbus guidelines
. Propose country strategy and provide inputs for regional strategy
. Act as the country business development and lobbying leader to build a favorable ecosystem ensuring long-term business capture in coordination with the regional sales
. Act as Account Director in the frame of front office organization in the country as required
. Identify local Offsets or Industrial Participation demands or needs and propose orientations / guidelines for Industrial participation and specific Offset solutions
. Support implementation of Airbus Italy or Regional Business Development initiatives.
Provide return of experiences
Act as a leader and mentor developing a stable & proficient local sales team with shared vision, targets, Airbus values, ethics and compliance, processes and best practices
. To manage and develop customer relationships and develop future business opportunities in relation to the Airbus Defence and Space portfolio, in Italy
He/she:
- focuses on building strategic, long-term customer relationships
- acts as the "voice of the customers" towards Defence and Space (DS)
- identifies business opportunities and supports their transformation into new business
- contributes to setting up campaign teams, including campaign managers
- is accountable for DS Key Account and Country strategic development
- is responsible, directly or indirectly, for all business done with customers in the assigned territory and area of responsibility
- To lead and represent the DS presence in Italy:
- leads the DS operational activities in the country, both currently as a Military Aircraft subsidiary and in future as a department of the one-roof entity
- is the "one voice" for DS Italy, both externally and within the company
