**Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026** is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2, 300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22, 000 square km.
The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).
Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.
**Position**:
We are looking for **Host City Mobility Coordinator TROC.
The identified resource, who will be placed in our " Transport" function, will be responsible for:
- Coordination of the design of the operations centers (space, furniture, necessary technological infrastructure, etc.
);
- Coordination of relations with local authorities and external entities that will need to be present in the operations centers (municipalities, road and rail infrastructure managers, public transport companies, etc. )
and arrangements for integration with their existing operations rooms;
- Development of Operational Plans and Emergency Plans;
- Development of Policies & Procedures related to Transportation Operations Centers;
- Preparation and coordination of criticality simulation exercises that could arise in the field (Tabletops);
- Management of the relationship with the functional area of Milan Cortina 2026 called "Operational Readiness" and in charge of organizing the operations center for all the operations of the Games;
- Definition of the communication lines to be adopted within the Transportation area during operations and definition of the operation of the radio system to manage communications;
- Coordination and management of the Transportation Operations Centers during operations;
**Requirements**:
Technical Skills Desired:
- Preferably a bachelor's degree in engineering or architecture or at least four years of work experience in operational coordination roles, preferably in transportation, emergency or medium/large scale events
- Knowledge of communication tools that can be used within operations centers
- Knowledge of transportation planning systems and monitoring technologies
- Skill in analyzing transportation data and using specialized software to manage and resolve critical issues
- Thorough knowledge of local transportation and safety regulations and standards
Managerial skills:
- Ability to both strategic and operational planning
- Ability to coordinate a multidisciplinary team and manage critical situations
Communication and Interpersonal Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with very diverse audiences
- Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships and effective partnerships with local authorities, service providers, and other stakeholders
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and adapt quickly to changing situations
- Resilience to stress and ability to make quick decisions even under pressure
- Excellent knowledge of both the Italian and English languages
