**The Hoxton made its way to Italy!

- In May 2021 we opened The Hoxton, Rome and we're now looking for an experienced

**Host/Hostess** to play a crucial part in successfully bringing a new concept to the Italian market.

Reporting to the R&B Manager and to the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible to give a warm welcome to our guests by making them feel at home, ensure they have a memorable experience throughout their visit.

The Hoxton, Rome is our 10th Hoxton and boasts 192 bedrooms of different sizes, a large coffee bar and takeaway counter, light-flooded restaurant, and The Apartment (our unique meetings & events space concept).

**What you'll do. . . **:

- Take reservations over the phone, handle payments and, when necessary, support the team with service

- Anticipate our guests' needs and always look for the best solution to exceed our guests' expectations

- Work closely with the rest of the team and help create a positive and fun environment

- Pay attention to dissatisfied guests and respond appropriately to ensure their satisfaction

- Adopt an attitude aimed at problem solving

- Master the use of the online reservation system ad be sure to add all necessary information to reservations

- Notify the outlet manager in the case of group reservations of more than 6 people

- Distribute reservations evenly among waiters on duty and share all necessary information

- Inquire with the kitchen about dishes of the day and any shortages

- Answer the phone within three rings, politely, using a friendly and informative tone

- Make sure you are thoroughly familiar with all menus served in R&B outlets: ingredients, preparation, presentation, prices, dishes of the day

- Interact in a friendly, service-oriented manner with guests and colleagues

**What we're looking for. . . **:

- Hotel or leisure related experience in a similar role would be a plus

- High level of verbal and written communication skills, competent computer skills

- You jump out of bed every morning, fizzing with energy and jazzed about what you're doing today

- You get us.

You know our hotels, maybe you've hung out in our bars and possibly regretted that last cocktail the next morning

- Excellent understanding of the English language

- You're not precious.
