ResponsibilitiesBe able to work on your feet for a typical shift for 8 hours at a time in a dynamic, fast-paced environmentManage room bookings in-person, online, and through incoming calls, and answer inquiries about guests' needs, including questions about available rooms, amenities, room rates, special requests, and rewards programsField customer complaints when necessaryConnect with the housekeeping department to ensure guest accommodations are readyGive every guest a warm welcome, check them in, and check them out when they leave, ensuring you provide correct keys and room numbersGeneral bookkeeping: ensure all hotel guest account information is accurate and up-to-dateQualificationsMust be 21 years or olderMust be able to stand on your feet for 8 hours during a typical shiftWeekend availability is requiredExhibits working knowledge of Microsoft Office and reservation management systems1 year of experience in the hospitality industry as a hotel front desk agent, hotel receptionist, or guest service specialist preferredDisplays impeccable interpersonal, time management, organizational skills, and customer service skillsComfortable taking telephone calls and mitigating stressful situationsMust have graduated high school, received a GED or equivalentCompensation$13. 50 hourly
