Hotel General Manager
The Hotel Manager will be in charge of managing and directing the hotel. This is a very specific figure who is responsible for organizing and coordinating the entire accommodation facility.
Both in terms of the staff who work within it and for the creation of services to be offered to customers.
It will also be his/her responsibility to manage the economic resources available to the company. The figure will agree with the Owner, from whom he receives specific company indications, both for the guidelines to be followed and for the resources available.
Based on the parameters given by the owner of the structure, he is then responsible for coordinating and directing all the activities necessary for the company to achieve the objectives of success and turnover set. This professional will operate with margins of operational autonomy and will research the most suitable and profitable business strategies.
He is also responsible for identifying and managing marketing and communication campaigns to make the structure known to potential new customers.
But also the creation of loyalty activities to encourage the return of patrons from previous months. Among the tasks of his competence there will also be the control of every single service made available to hotel visitors, in order to ensure at all times that the pre-established quality standards are respected. The Hotel Manager has several responsibilities, including that of constant supervision of the available budget.
One of the objectives of its work, in fact, is to achieve the economic results set with the Property, without exceeding the available ceiling. Great importance of his work will also focus on the monitoring of the accounting aspects of the structure with the help of figures chosen by the owners and the guarantee of compliance with the administrative and bureaucratic regulations of reference. This figure will also be responsible for coordinating staff and, if necessary, will have to intervene in the search for new potential employees.
He generally interfaces with the managers of each individual department of the facility, so that each of them is able to effectively and efficiently achieve their goal.
And, thanks to the collaboration with them, it manages the issue of procurement. The candidate will hold the role of Hotel Manager and will be the company''s Chief Executive Officer. • Experience in a similar position for at least 2 or more years (demonstrable and refutable) in accommodation facilities• Knowledge and expertise in cost control and supplier management as well as purchasing• Knowledge and management of Revenue Management techniques• Good professional training with preference for those coming from the Food and Beverage sector• Commercial and public relations profile, with knowledge of the market and its distribution channels, relations with the various commercial partners in coordination with the appropriate office• Knowledge of hotel management software (in medium-large facilities generally the use of software such as Fidelio, Opera or Protel is expected)Role: Hotel General ManagerJob Type: Permanent , Full TimeLocation: Laigueglia, Apply for this job now.
